Seriously, I do think that Jesus would be ecologically minded if he were walking the Earth with us today. After all, "the Earth's is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof." Regarding hell, it struck me that God's wrath is perhaps a withdrawal of his Spirit, the Spirit that currently keeps us from the worse of what we can do to ourselves.
